Artist statement
My practice centres on material testing and technique exploration, with a specialism in 3D printing, wheel throwing, and glaze development.
Working primarily in porcelain, my pieces are presented in a minimalist style, reflecting my research process rather than a narrative, leaving the work intentionally ambiguous and open-ended.
My craft has been shaped through mentorships across Singapore and London, an apprenticeship in Seto, Japan, and residencies in Jingdezhen and Xiamen, China.
Refinement is integral to everything I make, expressed through intricate detailing and modest forms that carry an understated elegance.
