Gift to the River Thames explores rituals and new belonging during my first year in London. Crafted from unfired clay, the piece was designed to dissolve into the riverbed, symbolising a return to nature. Wheel-thrown and carved with abstract flowing forms, it mirrors the movement of waves and reflections on the water as it drifts and sinks.
